WRAG: The (European) Wind Resource Assessment Group

Have you ever felt somewhat alone or uncertain in your everyday Wind & Site work? We have. That is probably because ours is a very dynamic sector and therefore, not all the solutions are clear in either standards committees or specialised forums. If, like over 100 European companies do, you want these organisations to listen to you, join our open and flexible initiative because we are convinced that together we are stronger

About Us

The Wind Resorce Assessment Group is a bottom-up initiative of more than 100 European wind & Site professionals with the objective to create a discussion forum to share concerns and exchange lessons learnt among wind resource engineers community. Born in 2018, our utlimate aim is to cascade those concerns up to influence our Industry decision-makers.

What for?

One of the first initiatives of the WRAG has been to request support from WindEurope. As a result of that effort, the WRAG will take a leading role in shaping the programme and format of the annual Resource Assessment workshop to address the challenges that the Group would be mostly concerned about. The 5th edition of WindEurope workshop on resource Assessment will take place on 27-28 June, in Brussels. In parallel, the resource Assessment Group will contribute to shaping the conference sessions for WindEurope Conference and exhibition in Bilbao on 2-4 April 2019

Who we are?

The WRAG is self-organised in a very agile and flexible way and is supported by WindEurope.
